Finding yourself stressed out more than usual? Jumpy at things you would normally just brush away?

First thing that comes to my mind is Bob Marley’s “Don’t worry be happy” song. Of course he did smoke a lot of weed, but there are other legal herbs that help with being calm!

Make sure you consult with your doctor on these, as some of them are able to help with depression. Also keep in mind that everyone reacts different to everything. What may work for you, may not work for someone else.

Some great herbs for calming are:

  • oats
  • Skullcap
  • St. John’s Wort
  • and Valerian 

You can take these in capsule form, or in your tea!

A great small fact, even though valerian root smells funny, cats seem to like this! So if you have an excess amount of Valerian root you can let your cats roll around in it. (In moderation of course, or not at all if you don’t like the stink ;))
